POE is celebrating its 35th year in business!!

Exploring ways to develop "security measures" in our service offering, POE recently partnered with a company that specializes in property surveillance and access control. Video Surveillance and Access Control provides a valuable tool for deterring crime and increasing the overall safety of your premises by:

• Preventing acts of vandalism, theft and unwelcome visitors inside and outside of the facility
• Protecting private records and valuable equipment
• Controlling access to buildings during the day/night to authorized personnel and reducing the risk of after-hours invaders, thieves and vandals

Since 2003, a sex offender has applied with one of our clients every single month.

In response to recent events, the federal government has created a new "national" sex offender registry web site (www.nsopr.gov). A major problem with this site is that only 22 states are currently available for searching. POE will continue to monitor the anticipated growth of this resource. We'll keep you posted of any new developments. As a reminder, POE provides sex offender searches in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, and Delaware on every single criminal records investigation. If an applicant has lived in a state outside the Mid-Atlantic region, we will search that state's sex offender registry as well, at no additional fee.
